Message: Oh man!! Congratulations on the best web page on gluten free recipes and information. (refering to our Glutenfreegoodies.co.nz site)

My husband suffers from gout and a nutricinist suggested that he changes his diet to dairy and wheat / gluten free (and to exclude the obvious high purine foods) since we have made the changes he has not had any gout (even when eating high purine level foods) Your products, advice and recipes will help me keep him healthy.

Will order from you soon. Annelize

Hello the people of organic purebread,

I thought I would quickly take the time out to let you know how fabulous I think your company is.  I have only just found your product and company for that matter over the past month been, I have an intolerance to wheat and gluten and am a regular buyer now of your Rye & Rice loaf, it is soooooo yummy (it's actually the only one I have been able to find from your wheat and gluten free range), but as some feedback what I love about this loaf is the following..... it's moist, the texture is great, doesn't feel like a brick and dry and I can't believe how well it keeps at the same time as feeling healthy with not only a relatively low fat content but the ingredients are almost as natural as they come.  I am so stoked.

I have tried every single bread brand out there when it comes to wheat and gluten free products and as a consumer I have found your bread tops the list.  I'm not buttering you up I'm being serious!!!!

So pat yourselves on the back and well well well done, I'm very impressed and can't wait to see what other delights you bring out soon?

Please keep me in the loop

Warmest regards and if you ever need someone to vouch for your product you can ask me I would be more than happy.

March 2009

While on holiday in NZ I bought a 'full o'grain loaf' and enjoyed it very much but where do I get it now I'm back in the UK?  I bought it from a lovely health food shop in Kerikeri. At least for a few days I could give the rice cakes a miss! I can easily buy gluten/wheat free products here in the UK but the Purebread one is definately the nicest especially as you don't have to toast it to make it edible!
Regards, Sue.

Corn & seed bread. Love it. Love it fresh - the only g/f bread I can enjoy straight from the bag. Also love it toasted, with a sandwich filling in it or an egg on it. Actually, pretty much anyway you can think of really.

Just bought your gf Inca Crunchies - they are absolutely delicious! The best gluten free cereal I have yet purchased and I have tried them all.

My wife and I bought a loaf of your sliced Full O' Grain bread at New World in Porirua this afternoon. I tried a slice with some cheese. It is the best bread I have eaten for a very long time and will keep buying it as long as it is available.

Kind regards Frank

Chocolate Cake. I made your recipe - the one in the rich baking mix. I used buttermilk instead of ordinary milk and I used slightly less liquid. Well, it was a sensation and is the best chocolate cake recipe ever. My work colleagues marvelled at it and I was so proud.

I live in the Wairarapa and have been buying the "organic purebread" for over a year.  I buy it regularly now at Greytown Fresh where I work. I work for the organic growing company that runs this shop so I appreciate the opportunity I have to support your business.

You have a fantastic product (and range of products) and I enjoy your bread very much. All the best.  Happy baking!

Sept 08

I have just discovered your Gluten free Corn and Seed bread in my local supermarket.  It is the best of all the commercially produced GF breads I have ever tasted – which is a fair few over the 12 years I have been on a GF diet.  It is the only one that is moist enough to be used as sandwiches – that are still sandwiches at lunchtime , rather than a pile of dry crumbs.  It is a real treat.

Thank you so much for taking the time to cater for those of us on difficult diets.  We appreciate youe efforts

Take care

SUE

I have to say that your bread is the best organic bread I've tasted. When I first bought a loaf, I thought it tasted like rewena bread, which was made from potatoes, flour, sugar etc which my Nana used to make and was beautiful, just like yours.

Thank you for such a lovely bread, I'll have to call in when I'm visiting in Otaki and Porirua if that's ok.

Kind regards,
Joanne Pine

The gluten free corn bread is the best I have tasted. It is pre-sliced so can be frozen for convenience. Try it toasted with chunky basil pesto and tomato on top.

So many thanks for the two loaves of bread. One would have been fine but am very grateful to receive two. It really is very generous of you.

I only ever have one loaf at a time, but it was great to have them both as I could compare them both together and I actually really much prefer the corn loaf. I love the taste and the texture and it does not have to be toasted as most other gluten and wheat free breads need to.

So many thanks for your attention to this and I will most definitely continue to purchase your products and I know others I know with coealic disease will do so also.

Many thanks

I just wanted to say how great your bread products are. I've converted to Purebread from Vogel's Soy and Linseed Oil and love the fact that it doesn't give you that full, bloated feeling.
Cheers,
Mike

We bought your Corn and Seed bread today from Moore Wilsons in Wellington. Today I had my first fresh bread sandwich in years. Thanks for making such a lovely, light gluten free bread.

I am just sending a short note to you to acknowledge your excellent PureBread products and to wish you well with your business.

I have been eating your products regularly for the past year and rate your breads as some of the best on the market. Amazingly, I have observed that they stay fresher for longer than other non-organic breads, such as Vogels or Reizensteins. I don't refrigerate bread, just leave it in it's bag sitting on the shelf. other non-organic breads definitely start moulding much quicker. You probably already know this....just why though is what interests me.

Also, last year, my wife rang Vogels customer service after we realised that their 'Organic' bread wasn't 100% organic. I can't remember the details that were on the wrapper... something like "87% Organic" or in the small print an ingredient listed as "non-organic...".

The response from Vogels was that by law they don't have to be 100% to describe themselves as organic, which is simply absurd in our view, and also misleading. We had been eating their organic brand for a while before we realised. I wondered if you had any comment about this.

Thank you for your excellent work and product.

All the best, Respect from Daniel

A big thank you for making such a delicious gluten free bread. It is the nicest gf bread I've ever had. I have Coeliac disease and I have a few friends who are wheat intolerant who also eat your bread.

Just wondering if its possible to cut in sandwich slice as we all find the toast cut a bit thick?

Kind regards,
Kirsty Paru

I never eat chocolate biscuits but I just ate 4 of your choc-dilights and I am trying not to eat any more! I had to give the other 4 biscuits away. I was scared I would become addicted! Will have to try the coconut ones next. It is great you are doing other products as well as bread now.

All the best,
Marion

My husband found your bread, at huckleberrys. We had been using another brand and found it gets stale and rock hard quickly. Yours stays fresh longer, is more filling and then can be toasted. My husband is a truck driver and he likes it as fresh as possible for when he make his sandwiches in his truck. Cute aye!!

We have found foodtown greenlane have more stock as we buy 3 at a time, and there other gluten free products are cheaper than the heath shops. Pack n save Royal Oak carry a Gluten free bread, the one that gets stale quickly.

Your bread should be advertised on TV!

(No more grumpy husband cause of stale bread)

Best regards,
Jude
