The Dirty Dozen Produce for 2022 has been released and the findings are interesting! At the top of the list are the usual suspects strawberries and spinach containing the highest levels of pesticides. They are then followed by kale, collard and mustard -- nectarines, apples, grapes, and capsicum and hot peppers, according to the Environmental Working Group's 2022 Shopper's Guide to Pesticides in Produce.
This is a good reminder to make sure to purchase Organic Fruit and Vege's, from your farmers market when they are in season or even better give gardening a go yourself by looking at some of Kath's Gardening Tips.
