Almond Biscuits

These are mild and crisp and very nice with a cup of tea.

Directions

1Cream the butter and sugar.

2Add the egg and mix well.

3Add flour and baking powder and mix well. Allow to stand a few minutes to let the mixture firm up a little.

4Roll into balls, flatten between your palms, and place on baking trays.

5Place a blanched almond on top of each biscuit and press it in a little.

6Bake for 20 - 25 minutes at 180C.

7Remove to wire rack to cool.

125g butter

125g sugar

1 size 7 egg

175g Gluten Free Goodies Cake and Biscuit Mix

1 1/2 tsp Gluten Free Goodies Baking Powder

blanched almonds to decorate
