Blueberry Sauce

This goes extremely well with pancakes or waffles, and can also be consumed on ice-cream (or, in my husband’s case, on granola for breakfast!)

  • Prep: 15 mins
  • Cook: 12 hrs


1Combine all ingredients and cook over medium heat, stirring throughout, until thickened. Can be stored in a covered container in the fridge for 2 to 3 days.


1/3 cup sugar

1 tbsp maize cornflour

1/3 cup water

2 tbsp lemon juice

2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
