1Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and stir over moderate heat until boiling. Reduce heat and simmer, still stirring continually, for a couple of minutes. Remove from heat and serve over icecream. Stores well in the fridge for a week or two, covered.


50g butter

1 cup brown sugar

1 Tbsp golden syrup

100ml cream

½ tsp vanilla
