Fried Fish

For four people, about 600-700g of fish is fine. Gurnard is nice but anything will do as long as it’s FRESH!

  • Cook: 10 mins

Directions

1Fry the coated fish in a little oil, turning half-way through cooking.

2Serve with oven chips, lemon wedges and a green salad.

3A really nice dressing for the fish is:

4Equal quantities of sour cream (or unsweetened Greek yoghurt) and tomato sauce, mixed thoroughly together.

Ingredients

Dip the fish fillets in the following order into:

A bowl of rice or wheat flour

Beaten egg (2 eggs whisked in a small bowl is fine)

Finely crushed cornflakes, or breadcrumbs, whichever is easier
