These are an upmarket version of good old jam thumbprints. Both our kids like them - a real recommendation!
- Prep: 10 mins
- Cook: 15 mins
1Cream butter, sugar and vanilla.
2Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
3Add flour and baking powder and mix to a firm dough with your hands.
4Roll into balls and dip the tops in sugar.
5Place on baking trays and make a depression in the top of each with your finger or the handle of a wooden spoon.
6Fill the depression with jam.
7Bake at 200C for 15 - 20 minutes or until firm and lightly browned.
