Sweet and Sour Meatballs November 16, 2016 File this one under the “what can I do with 500g of mince” heading! Makes a nice change and doesn’t require a lot of effort. Prep: 15 mins Cook: 10 mins Directions 1Mix all ingredients apart from oil and cornflour together and roll inot 2-3cm balls. 2Roll in cornflour and fry by tossing gently in hot oil for 5 to 10 minutes. 3Remove to a plate, 4Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch and vinegar together. 5Heat oil and stirfry vegetables and ginger for a few moments, then add stock or water and simmer briefly until vegetables are crisp-tender. 6Add vinegar mix and pineapple with its juice. 7Heat to thicken, add meatballs and warm though. 8 Serve with rice or rice noodles.
